Set-Free Ministry

The Samaritan Inn Website

"....he brought him to an inn, and took care of him." Luke 10:34

Our mission at Set Free Ministries is to rescue prisoners and street people from their addictive lifestyles and restore them to wholeness through a relationship with Jesus Christ and release them with the ability to minister unto others.

In 1974, Ernie Mueller felt God wanted him to start a drug and alcohol recovery house. The purpose was to teach residents principles of Christian living.

With the help of Church leadership, Ernie Mueller and his wife Judy, directed a recovery house for almost two years. This vision did not blossom again until April, 1997.

The Samaritan Inn is a recovery house which assists men dealing with their addictions. Group meetings held 5 days a week challenge them to deal with the problems arising from their addictions.

Wednesdays they participate in a Christian 12-step program, and a home Bible study on Fridays. Both the 12-step program and the Bible study are open to people outside "The Inn."

Ernie Mueller believes God is going to raise up several drug and alcohol recovery houses through Set Free Ministries, to help both men and women deal with their addictions and to teach them to live the Christian life. We are pleased with the progress that has been made to date.

When addicts and alcoholics have a desire to change their lives, the success of the program is limited only by the availability of facilities and other resources.
