Local Outreach

Nativity Drive Through

Our whole church joins together to provide the community with a gift that shows the real meaning of Christmas through our Nativity Drive Through entitled: "The Great Expectation" Dec 16, 17 and 18th, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m

Visitors stay in the comfort of their own car and drive through the ancient Roman gates of Bethlehem into another time. Fellow travelers on their way to Bethlehem can be seen along with the Magi bringing gifts, shepherds and angels on the hillside, all on their way to see the Christ child.

Eleven nativity scenes are presented, complete with live actors and animals, special lighting and effects. These scenes are bathed in the light of Abbotsford's largest decorated Christmas tree, along with Christmas music. This Drive Through, sponsored by local businesses, is a not-to-be-missed Christmas tradition.

At the end of the journey, everyone can participate in the Christmas Spirit of giving by donating a food item for the local food banks or the Salvation Army.

Christmas Morning Ministry

There are over 250 homeless people in our area. Our goal this year is to bless them with a duffel bag full of very needed items. I believe the Lord will provide a gift for each person in need. Preparing a bag may be costly – somewhere in the region of $85.00 per bag however it is a worthy offering. If you aren’t able to prepare a whole bag, all or any amount of donation(s) will be gladly accepted, whether it be gift items or financial.

Cyrus Centre

I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes . . .

Responding to a proven need in the city of Abbotsford, the Cyrus Centre is a place to meet the basic needs of street/homeless youth in a non-threatening, supportive environment. It provides a safe place for youth to get food, do laundry, take a shower. But most importantly, it is a place where relationships will be built with supportive, properly trained volunteers and staff.

You can help feed, clothe and counsel a young person in Abbotsford when you choose to support the Cyrus Centre

  • With prayer
